A single-pad indoor rink in South Buffalo owned by the City of Buffalo and operated by Hasek's Heroes, a local not-for-profit that provides a hockey experience at no cost to its players. Public skate admission is $3 with skate rental at $5; City of Buffalo residents pay $1 for youth 17 and under and seniors 65 and up, and $2 for adults 18 to 64, on mentioning residency at the desk. Alongside Hasek's Heroes and Skate & Shoot programming it runs public skating with a full-service snack bar, rental skates, a heated upstairs viewing area, pro shop and skate sharpening. It is also home to the Cazenovia Park Hockey Association.
Ice times here are published on the operator's own calendar, so they are always current at the source rather than copied and left to drift.
Public skate times vary by season. Check the rink's posted schedule before travelling, since ice time is often reallocated during tournament weekends.
Yes, sharpening is available at the pro shop during operating hours.
