Rochester is the second hockey city on this site, and its college depth is the reason. RIT, Nazareth and the University of Rochester all ice teams, with RIT and Nazareth running men's and women's programs. Youth hockey runs through the Jr. Americans, the Rochester Aces and the Saints Hockey Club, with Aquinas and McQuaid on the high school side. Local ice is at Tim Hortons Iceplex, Genesee Valley and Paul Louis Arena.
