The Niagara Frontier Officials Association (NFOA) is a Western New York sports officiating organization that has operated since 1940 (originally founded as the Ken-Ton Officials Association) and was formally incorporated under New York State law in 1982. Its roughly 200 members work as independent-contractor officials covering basketball, off-ice hockey, softball, and football throughout the region, and the group also runs training programs for both aspiring and experienced officials.
