The West Section is one of four geographic sections of the New York State Amateur Hockey Association (NYSAHA), USA Hockey's affiliate for New York State. It covers Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Niagara, Ontario, Orleans, Wyoming, and Yates counties, spanning the Buffalo and Rochester areas. With 58 member associations, it is NYSAHA's largest section, recording 17,786 player registrations in the 2025-26 season.
